Psychedelics are a grossly under-researched, yet extremely promising venue when it comes to their psychological  uses. However, their place in the psychedelia (psychedelic culture) of the 60’s and 70’s obscured their promise from the eyes of the world in a haze of spiritual realization and countercultural movements.  This research project will delve mainly into the application of psychedelics such as LSD, DMT, Psilocybin and Ayahuasca. These applications range from therapy for depression to creativity enhancements through microdosing and, of course, the alleged “mind expanding” insights reported in the mid-20th century.
